Shri Sandeep Mathur, General Manager of South Coast Railway (SCoR), has taken additional charge as General Manager of South Central Railway (SCR) on, 1st July 2025, at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

A 1988 batch officer of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE), Shri Mathur has held several key positions in Indian Railways. Before his current posting at South Coast Railway, headquartered in Visakhapatnam, he served as Principal Executive Director/Signaling at the Railway Board, Ministry of Railways. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in driving technological upgrades and formulating key policies in the field of railway signaling systems.
