GENERAL MANAGER, EASTERN RAILWAY CONDUCTED COMPREHENSIVE WINDOW-TRAILING INSPECTION: FOCUS ON SAFETY AND INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT

Shri Amar Prakash Dwivedi, General Manager, Eastern Railway, accompanied by Principal Heads of Departments including Shri Arun Kumar Chaudhary, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri V. B. Vishwakarma, Principal Chief Electrical Engineer and Shri Sanjeev Kumar, Divisional Railway Manager, Howrah conducted an extensive window-trailing inspection from Howrah to Rampurhat today (27.11.2023).

During the inspection at Barddhaman and Rampurhat, Mr. Dwivedi visited the crew lobby, expressing commendation for the successful implementation of the "NO SPAD OATH" initiative. This initiative ensures a commitment to safety by crew members during duty signons at both Barddhaman and Rampurhat.

In addition to safety measures, Mr. Dwivedi took the opportunity to inspect the ongoing construction work of the Amrit Station at both Barddhaman and Rampurhat. During the inspection, he emphasized the importance of completing the project by March 2024, underscoring Eastern Railway's commitment to the infrastructure development.

Furthermore, discussions centered around the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme's (ABSS) second entry at Barddhaman station. Mr. Dwivedi and the delegation reviewed the progress of the construction of the circulating area at both stations, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

The comprehensive inspection reflects Eastern Railway's dedication to enhancing safety measures and advancing key infrastructure projects for the benefit of passengers and the railway network.
