The Electrical Department (Operation) of Eastern Railway's Sealdah Division organized an informative initiative session at Sealdah Seminar Hall to address the importance of mental stability and alertness among loco pilots. The session, attended by loco pilots and their family members, focused on promoting adequate rest at home and maintaining positive behavioural patterns both at home and during duty hours.

The session was conducted under the overall guidance of Divisional Railway Manager, Sealdah, Sri Deepak Nigam and the leadership of SR.. DEE/Operation Sealdah.
- In this session, the following points were discussed : -
1. PROMOTING ADEQUATE REST AT HOME: Loco pilots' long and often irregular working hours can significantly impact their overall well-being. The initiative emphasized the importance of establishing a regular sleep schedule and maintaining a healthy lifestyle outside of work. This includes engaging in regular physical activity, adopting a balanced diet, and practicing relaxation techniques.
2. MAINTAINING POSITIVE BEHAVIOURAL PATTERNS: The session also delved into the significance of cultivating positive behavioural patterns, both at home and during duty hours. This encompasses fostering open communication within families, managing stress effectively, and seeking support when needed.
